(USA Today) Texas is no longer the most popular state for people to move to, a title it’s claimed on U-Haul’s list of “growth states” for the last three years. The Lone Star State got bumped down to the number two spot on the moving vehicle rental company’s 2024 list, which was published just after New Year’s. South Carolina — the Palmetto State — was the most popular state to move to in 2024 for the first time in U-Haul’s ranking history.
